Bayern Munich is making an organized effort to strengthen their attacking squad. According to recent sources, the team is thinking of adding Antony from Manchester United.

Antony’s Journey So Far

In 2022, 25-year-old Brazilian winger Antony became part of Manchester United. But he found it difficult to have a big influence at Old Trafford. As a result, he was loaned to Real Betis, where he has performed well. Antony has made 11 appearances for the Spanish team, contributing four goals and four assists. 

Bayern’s Interest in Antony

 As they look for attacking options, Bayern Munich has shown interest in Antony. According to reports, the German champions are trying to sign the Brazilian winger in an effort to strengthen their attacking options.

Real Betis’ Position

 Because of Antony’s contributions, Real Betis is eager to keep him on board. Since joining Real Betis from Manchester United earlier this year, Antony’s career is back on track. According to reports, the team hopes to sign the winger to another loan agreement during the next transfer window. 

Bayern’s Broader Transfer Strategy 

Not only Antony is under Bayern’s radar. They are also watching Athletic Bilbao’s Nico Williams. 22-year-old Williams is well known for his speed and dribbling ability. Bayern would have to shed some existing wingers, though, to fit such a deal.

 Bayern sent Mathys Tel on loan to Tottenham Hotspur as well in hopes that the Premier League club would exercise the purchase option of €60 million. This possible sale would free Bayern to acquire new attacking talent.
